One of the World's Most Beautiful Beaches. Fact.
Carbis Bay Beach has retained it's Blue Flag status for a staggering fifteen years, together with the Seaside Award. Internationally recognised, the Blue Flag acts as a guarantee to visitors that a beach or marina is one of the best in the world.
With a picturesque Blue Flag beach just a few steps from the studio, the beautiful location offers a variety of additional filming options, including access and private hire to the estate-owned beach.
The beach has been used for a number of film and television productions including more recently BBC's Poldark.
The 25-acre beach offers one mile of golden sand facing a semi sheltered bay with far-reaching Atlantic sea views. The beach and shoreline is privately owned (but open to the public) and can be hired and locked off for filming by arrangement.
Direct helicopter access to the beach is available with an approximate 1 hour 40-mins journey time from London. Additional air access is available at two nearby airports in addition to main and local road and rail routes
