Our Story - Since 1894.
Whilst Carbis Bay Studio launched in 2020, Carbis Bay Estate has been open and owned by the Baker family since 1985.
The television and photographic studio launched with several new regionally-based cookery series to be produced for ITV by Round World Studios’ partner production company, Rock Oyster Media.
Within the Carbis Bay Estate is a variety of accommodation including bedrooms, suites, Beach Lodges (for VIP use), spa facilities, a choice of restaurants, and a privately-owned 25-acre Beach.
With a picturesque Blue Flag beach just a few steps from the studio, the location offers a variety of additional exterior and interior filming options, including access to a privately-owned beach. There is direct access to our 38-room hotel and spa, beach-facing suites and lodges and, located in other nearby areas on the estate, there is further accommodation, catering and restaurant facilities and flexible space available for hire by productions.
The Estate was chosen to host the 2021 G7 summit in Cornwall.
